AISI H-11 is a versatile hot work tool steel known for its excellent hot hardness, durability, and overall performance under high temperatures. It possesses good thermal conductivity and is resistant to thermal cracking, making it ideal for applications involving cyclic heating and cooling. Additionally, it can be water-cooled to a limited extent, providing more flexibility in certain processes.

Steel Properties

AISI H-11 is a hot work tool steel with 5% chromium content, offering high strength, toughness, and superior thermal physical properties. Its resistance to thermal cracking ensures long tool life, especially in demanding applications such as die-casting, press forging, and extrusion. Application

AISI H-11 is widely used in hot work tooling applications, including ejector pins, tool holders, bridge-type tools, liner holders, forging dies, hot work punches, and shrink work chucks.
